Gisela Mann began professional photography in London in 2004.  Her natural eye and flare for seeing the uniqueness in a subject has given pleasure to her own family and to those she has shared her talent with.

She endeavours to pull the best from her subjects, having learnt that the best portraits do not come from the camera, but from you.  By spending time with you, talking with you, playing with your children and sharing time with you, smiles come and portraits appear.  The stark production of a camera lens may make some feel ill-at-ease.  Gisela wants her subjects to offer her the best of themselves, comfortable, happy in their own surroundings, before the camera appears.

Being a mother of two children, she knows the difficulty of a staged portrait.  She also knows a portrait in this fashion may not reflect your child… their character… their life.  She offers you the chance to see them and remember their younger times in the best way.
